Welcome to ESLWAVE. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and platform located at eslwave.com. By using ESLWAVE, you agree to these terms in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must not use our platform. These terms were last updated on April 20, 2026.

ESLWAVE is an online platform connecting teachers and educational institutions across Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia.

Marketplace Platform

ESLWAVE operates solely as a technology platform facilitating connections between teachers, schools, employers, recruiters, and educational institutions. ESLWAVE is not the employer or contracting party in employment or business relationships between users.

No Guarantee

ESLWAVE does not guarantee employment or job placement, candidate suitability, interviews, responses from users, or hiring outcomes.

3. User Accounts

Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate and complete information, maintain account security, and notify us of any unauthorized use.

Account Suspension

ESLWAVE may suspend or terminate accounts, with or without notice where reasonably necessary, including in cases of violation of these Terms, fraudulent or misleading activity, abuse of the platform, or conduct that may harm other users.

Account Termination by User

You may request to close your account at any time by contacting us at eslwave@gmail.com. Upon termination, your access to the platform will be revoked. Certain data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

4. Prohibited Uses

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use ESLWAVE for creating fake or duplicate accounts, automated scraping, crawling or data harvesting, posting false or misleading job listings or profiles, sending unsolicited communications or spam, impersonating any person or organization, engaging in fraudulent or unlawful activities, or violating any applicable laws or regulations.

Enforcement

ESLWAVE reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including immediate suspension or termination of accounts, without notice. ESLWAVE shall not be liable for any consequences resulting from such actions.

5. User Content and Conduct

User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for all content they submit.

No Verification

ESLWAVE does not independently verify or guarantee teacher qualifications, identity, certifications, work eligibility, school legitimacy, or job postings.

No Endorsement

Listings, profiles, reviews, messages, or other user-generated content on ESLWAVE do not constitute endorsements, certifications, recommendations, or guarantees by ESLWAVE.

Fraud Disclaimer

ESLWAVE is not responsible for fraudulent, misleading, illegal, or inappropriate conduct by users.

6. Employer and Teacher Responsibilities

User Obligations

Users agree that all hiring decisions are made independently, all contracts are between users only, and users must comply with all applicable laws.

No Employment Relationship

ESLWAVE is not a party to any employment agreement, visa sponsorship arrangement, housing agreement, compensation arrangement, or other contractual relationship between users.

No Background Checks

ESLWAVE does not conduct background checks, credential verification, employment verification, or immigration eligibility checks.

7. Fees and Payments

Payment Terms

Certain ESLWAVE services require payment. Fees are generally non-refundable once the relevant service has been used or activated, except where otherwise required by applicable law or explicitly stated by ESLWAVE.

Subscription Cancellation

If you cancel a subscription, you will retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds will be provided for unused time. You are responsible for managing your subscription, including cancellation prior to renewal.

Payment Disclaimer

Payments are processed through third-party providers. ESLWAVE is not responsible for payment errors, delays, or security issues caused by such providers.

8. Intellectual Property

Platform Content

All platform content belongs to ESLWAVE or its licensors.

User Content License

Users grant ESLWAVE a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute submitted content solely for the purpose of operating and maintaining the platform. ESLWAVE will not use your content for advertising or promotional purposes without your explicit consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer of Warranties

ESLWAVE is provided "as is" and "as available."

Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures, but no system is completely secure.

Cybersecurity Disclaimer

ESLWAVE is not liable for damages caused by hacking, unauthorized access, malware, service interruptions, or data breaches beyond our reasonable control.

User Interaction Disclaimer

ESLWAVE is not responsible for user disputes, employment outcomes, hiring decisions, visa issues, housing arrangements, compensation disputes, or fraud or misrepresentation by users.

Limitation of Damages

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ESLWAVE is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Third-Party Services

Third-Party Integrations

ESLWAVE uses third-party services (e.g., hosting, payments, analytics). We are not responsible for their performance, content, availability, or security.

11. Indemnification

User Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold ESLWAVE harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights.

12. Force Majeure

Events Beyond Our Control

ESLWAVE is not liable for failures caused by events beyond our control, including cyberattacks, system failures, internet outages, government actions, labor disputes, or natural disasters.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

In the event of a dispute, users agree to first attempt to resolve the matter by contacting ESLWAVE at eslwave@gmail.com. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may pursue legal action.

Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.

14. International Use

Cross-Border Use

ESLWAVE operates from Korea but serves users across Asia. Users are responsible for complying with local laws in their jurisdiction.

Employment & Visa

ESLWAVE is not responsible for work visas, immigration requirements, labor law compliance, employment eligibility, or local licensing requirements.

15. Cross-Border Data Transfer

ESLWAVE may use service providers located outside Korea to host, process, store, or support the platform. By using our services, you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your personal information in Korea and other countries where ESLWAVE or its service providers operate.

ESLWAVE does not endorse or facilitate discriminatory hiring practices. Any reference to "native English teachers" reflects common market terminology only and does not constitute a requirement enforced or endorsed by ESLWAVE.
